A Luxury Social Space: Quartzforms Planet Earth Bar & Feature Wall
At MG Granite, we take great pride in the fact that many of our clients return to us for future projects. Having worked with this homeowner in the past, we were delighted to be invited back to create a striking new focal point for their home: a bespoke bar area and matching architectural wall panelling.
The Material: Quartzforms Planet Earth
For this installation, we supplied and fitted 20mm Quartzforms Planet Earth. This material was selected for its rich, organic tones and unique texture, which brings a natural yet sophisticated feel to a modern social space.
Exquisite Craftsmanship & Detail
The project involved two main elements that required precision fabrication and expert installation:
The Bar Top: We created a sleek and durable bar surface, custom-cut to fit the area perfectly. The 20mm quartz provides a hard-wearing, stain-resistant finish that is ideal for entertaining.
Bespoke Wall Panels: To elevate the room’s design, we installed matching quartz panels on the walls. This creates a high-end, integrated look that ties the entire bar area together.
Large Chamfered Edges: A standout feature of this project is the large chamfer we applied to the wall panels. This bold, angled edge detail adds a three-dimensional quality to the stone, catching the light and giving the feature wall a distinct, architectural character.
Expert Installation
Our team ensured that the patterns in the Planet Earth quartz flowed seamlessly between the bar top and the wall cladding. The result is a bold, modern space that demonstrates how premium stone can be used to create a unique and luxurious atmosphere outside of a traditional kitchen setting.
